Where does this name come from?
We were looking for a name that leaves room for imagination, symbolizes notions that are unique to us, impacts minds, and differentiates from what we already know in the industry.
Strix pronounced «/stɹɪks/» is a type of owl that belongs to the Strigidae family, one of the two main families. Known for their intelligence and strategic approach to hunting, some of these birds are symbolic of northern regions, with a widespread presence across Canada.
This bird has characteristics that remind us of our industry, for example, their feathers, which allow them to fly silently, reminiscent of the concept of stealth in the design of future aircraft.
